College and Career Readiness

CCA Academy implements a comprehensive approach to support students' transition to postsecondary education and careers. This includes structured college counseling and guidance services, supplemented by college visitation trips during the academic year and school vacation periods.
As part of the graduation requirements, all students are required to take the SAT/ACT examination and secure acceptance into at least two postsecondary institutions.
Additionally, students complete the Learn.Plan.Succeed. initiative, which guides them in developing a postsecondary plan aligned with one of six pathways:
- College/University
- Military Service
- Employment
- Apprenticeship
- Job Training Programs
- Gap Year/Service Year Programs
To support career exploration, CCA offers real-world work experiences, industry-focused field trips, and employer engagement days. These experiences expose students to a variety of career pathways, helping them make informed decisions about postsecondary education and their future careers.
